The Ministry of Environment will host the Cambodia Climate Change Summit 2024 (CCCS24) in collaboration with the Mekong Future Initiative (MFI) in October 2024. This marks the fourth annual summit aimed at showcasing Cambodia’s advancements in addressing climate-related challenges. The summit will feature contributions from experts across various sectors, including the private and public sectors as well as NGOs.
Mission and Themes
The mission of CCCS24 is to further the national discourse on climate-related issues within Cambodia and to enhance coordination among climate change professionals. The summit will cover critical topics such as Renewable Energy, Climate Finance, Carbon Markets, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and Environmental Technological Innovations across diverse industries including Agriculture, Transport, Tourism, and Commerce. Over 20 panel discussions and sessions are planned to address these themes comprehensively.

Partnership and Support
The Ministry of Environment (MOE) will serve as the official host, providing strategic leadership in partnership with MFI, which will manage the partnership campaign and program development for CCCS24.
Connection to COP Event
This year’s summit will also align with the objectives and themes of the upcoming COP (Conference of the Parties) event, underscoring Cambodia’s commitment to global climate goals and collaborative efforts in mitigating climate change impacts.
